CALCINED PETROLEUM COKE

   

       Calcined petroleum coke is a black or dark gray solid petroleum products, with a metallic luster, is porous and is a granular, columnar or needle shaped carbon body formed of tiny graphite crystals. Petroleum coke components are hydrocarbons with 90% - 97% carbon and 1.5% - 8% hydrogen, as well as nitrogen, chlorine, sulfur and heavy metal compounds. The main use of calcined petroleum coke is electrolytic aluminum in the prebake carbon slab and anode paste, production of carbon and graphite electrodes in carbon industry, silicon and fuel in smelting industry, etc.
